History

Agroherni is a prestigious producer of salads and fruits. Its history has been closely tied to the agricultural activity since 1996.

In 2005, a group of farmers leaded by the brothers Hernandez Nieto were grouped into a cooperative and began with the large-scale production and commercialization of fresh horticultural products for the local market. Since then, the activity of the company has been in continuous growth until consolidating itself as an Organization of Agricultural Producers which at present is among the most relevant of the sector in the European market.

FIRST STEPS The establishment of an agricultural cooperative was the first step of an ambitious growth plan aimed at introducing our products into the European market.

Production was diversified by adding new fruit and vegetable species, although lettuce continued to represent the highest percentage of total supply, with the Iceberg, Batavia and Romana varieties standing out.

On 11 December 2006, the Cooperative was recognised as a Fruit and Vegetables Producer Organisation, under registration number 951.

As a result of its growth, Agroherni has diversified its activity in different areas of strategic production and with opportunities for market growth, which has meant expanding its range of products and offers to customers.
